Privacy Policy

What data do we collect?

Infinotes does not sell any personal information, and does not collect or store your data on any server — there are no Infinotes accounts and no Infinotes servers. Everything the app does happens on your device.

Your notes are documents that belong to you. They are stored wherever you choose to save them — on your device, or in a location like iCloud Drive through the Files app. If you save notes to iCloud Drive, they are synced by Apple under the privacy policy provided by Apple; Infinotes never sees them.

To power search, Infinotes recognizes the handwriting and text in your notes entirely on your device, and stores the results inside the document itself and in a private index on your device (so your notes can appear in Spotlight). None of this is uploaded to us.

Infinotes uses no analytics, advertising, or tracking. Deleting a document removes everything Infinotes created for it, and deleting the app removes its private index.

Policy Changes

We may update this privacy policy in the future. You can always view the most up-to-date policy on this page. We may also notify you of policy updates via App Store update release notes.

California Privacy Disclosures

Infinotes does not collect, sell, or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.

Do Not Track. DNT is a browser setting that signals a website to disable tracking. Infinotes does not track you and does not have the capability to respond to DNT signals.
